The MySQL database is available on HostYD.org servers via the PhpMyAdmin panel. You can export and import data here. Data export is only possible if the database contains, of course, any data. The export function allows you to save selected or all data from the database to a file, which can then be imported into another database. So, in a nutshell, you can do export and import of data in the phpMyAdmin tool on the server.

If you want to export MySQL database using phpMyAdmin, you should first log into the selected database in which the user intends to perform such an operation. In the cPanel on the HostYD.org server, select the phpMyAdmin option.

The user is redirected to phpMyAdmin without login credentials. Now you can perform various actions. At the top of the panel, there is a “database” tab.

After selecting the appropriate database from which the user would like to export data, he should select the “export” option.
The next step is to choose the export method:

• Fast – only the minimal options are displayed, which allows you to export all of the MySQL database content using standard settings.
  Customize – will display all possible options, which will allow you to define detailed export properties.
• After selecting the appropriate option for you and configuring the export process press the “Go” button to save the prepared MySQL database dump to a computer disk.

The prepared MySQL database file can be freely imported into another MySQL database, even if it is on another server.
